It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Of all the nations, you most resemble the Children of Israel. You will most certainly follow their way, exactly as one feather of an arrow matches the other, until there will be nothing that happened among them but its like will happen among you; so much so that a woman will pass by some people, and one of them will get up, go to her and have intercourse with her, then return to his companions, laughing at them while they laugh at him."

So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Who is the one who said: As-salamu 'ala Allah? Indeed, Allah Himself is al-Salam (the Giver of peace). Rather, say: All verbal, physical and financial acts of worship are for Allah alone. Peace be upon you, O Prophet, and the mercy of Allah and His blessings. Peace be upon us and upon the righteous servants of Allah.
