حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّزَّاقِ، عَنِ الثَّوْرِيِّ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا أَبُو نُعَيْمٍ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: «جَعَلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ لِلْمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمًا لِلْمُقِيمِ» وَأَيْمُ اللهِ لَوْ مَضَى السَّائِلُ فِي مَسْأَلَتِهِ لَجَعَلَهَا خَمْسًا
Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fixed three days for the traveller and one day for the resident. And by Allah, had the questioner persisted in his question, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have made it five days.
حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا الْحُمَيْدِيُّ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ بَشَّارٍ الرَّمَادِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا سُفْيَانُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ، عَنْ عُمَرَ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: سَأَلْنَا رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ؟، فَقَالَ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ» وَلَوْ مَضَى السَّائِلُ فِي مَسْأَلَتِهِ لَزَادَهُ
Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: We asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about wiping over the leather socks (khuffs), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the traveller three days and three nights, and for the resident one day and one night." And had the questioner persisted in his question, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given him more.
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ يَحْيَى زَحْمَوَيْهِ، ثنا شَرِيكٌ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَعْرَابِيًّا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ؟، فَقَالَ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ» . وَلَوِ اسْتَزَدْنَاهُ لَجَعَلَهَا خَمْسًا
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about wiping over the leather socks (khuffs), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the traveller three days and three nights, and for the resident one day and one night." And had we asked him for more, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have made it five days.
حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ سَيَّارٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ عَوْنٍ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو حُصَيْنٍ الْقَاضِي، ثنا يَحْيَى الْحِمَّانِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ مَسْرُوقٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ الْأَوْدِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «الْمَسْحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wiping over the leather socks (khuffs) is three days for the traveller, and one day and one night for the resident."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the traveller it is three days, and for the resident one day and one night."

Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) granted us a concession to wipe over the leather socks (khuffs): "Three days and three nights for travellers, and one day and one night for the resident." And had we asked him for more, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given us more.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Wipe over the leather socks (khuffs) for three days." And had we asked him for more, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given us more.

Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fixed the time for the traveller to wipe for three days, and for the resident one day and one night; and had we asked him for more, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given us more.
Imam al-Tabarani (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Abu al-Ahwas dropped the name of Amr bin Maymun from the chain.

Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) fixed for us permission to wipe for three days; and had we asked him for more, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given us more.
حَدَّثَنَا أَسْلَمُ بْنُ سَهْلٍ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو الشَّعْثَاءِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ إِدْرِيسَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: جَاءَ أَعْرَابِيٌّ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَسَأَلَهُ عَنِ الْوُضُوءِ؟، فَقَالَ: «ثَلَاثًا لِلْمُسَافِرِ، وَيَوْمٌ لِلْحَاضِرِ» وَلَوِ اسْتَزَادَهُ الْأَعْرَابِيُّ لَزَادَهُ - يَعْنِي الْمَسْحَ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ -
Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: A Bedouin came to the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) and asked him about ablution (wudu), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Three days for the traveller, and one day for the resident" (meaning in wiping over the leather socks), and had that Bedouin asked him for more, he (peace and blessings be upon him) would have given him more.
حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْعُكْبَرِيُّ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنْ سَلَمَةَ بْنِ كُهَيْلٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ بْنِ سُوَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «يَمْسَحُ الْمُسَافِرُ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ» قَالَ شُعْبَةُ: أَحْسِبُهُ قَالَ: «وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller may wipe for three days" (the narrator Shu'bah said: I think he (peace and blessings be upon him) also said "and their nights").

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding wiping over the leather socks (khuffs): "For the traveller it is three days and three nights."
حَدَّثَنَا فُضَيْلُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمَلْطِيُّ، ثنا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ الضَّبِّيُّ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الزِّنْبَاعِ رَوْحُ بْنُ الْفَرَجِ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ عَدِيٍّ، قَالَا: ثنا ذُؤَادُ بْنُ عَلْبَةَ، عَنْ مُطَرِّفٍ، عَنِ الشَّعْبِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ الْأَكْبَرِ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: «فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In wiping over the leather socks (khuffs), for the traveller it is three days and three nights, and for the resident one day and one night."

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو زُرْعَةَ، ثنا آدَمُ بْنُ أَبِي إِيَاسٍ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا عَاصِمُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَلِيفَةَ، ثنا أَبُو الْوَلِيدِ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدُوسِ بْنِ كَامِلٍ السِّرَاجُ، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْجَعْدِ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَلِيٍّ الْبَرْبَهَارِيُّ، ثنا عَفَّانُ، قَالُوا: ثنا شُعْبَةُ، عَنِ الْحَكَمِ، وَحَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ التَّيْمِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller may wipe over the leather socks (khuffs) for three days and three nights, and the resident for one day and one night."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding wiping over the leather socks (khuffs): "For the traveller three days and three nights, and for the resident it is one day and one night."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، قَالَا: ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ح، وَحَدَّثَنَا عُمَرُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ السَّدُوسِيُّ، ثنا أَبُو بِلَالٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا أَبُو بَكْرٍ النَّهْشَلِيُّ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the traveller three days and three nights, and for the resident it is one day and one night."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding wiping over the leather socks (khuffs): "For the traveller three days and three nights, and for the resident it is one day and one night."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding wiping over the leather socks (khuffs): "For the traveller it is three days and three nights."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit al-Ansari (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said regarding wiping: "For the traveller it is three days, and for the resident one day."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller should wipe for three days and three nights, and the resident for one day and one night."

A similar hadith is also narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him).
حَدَّثَنَا الْحَسَنُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الرَّازِيُّ، وَحَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حُمَيْدٍ، ثنا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ بَشِيرٍ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، قَالَ: «أَمَرَنَا رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْمَسْحِ لِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا وَلَيْلَةً، وَلِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثًا»
Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to wipe for one day and one night for the resident, and for three days for the traveller.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For the traveller, three days and three nights; and for the resident, one day and one night, during which he does not take them off."
حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ عِيسَى الْحِمْصِيِّ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ صَالِحٍ الْوُحَاظِيُّ، ثنا عُفَيْرُ بْنُ مَعْدَانَ، عَنْ حَمَّادٍ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي، الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ، وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller should wipe over leather socks for three days, and the resident for one day."
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْبَزَّارُ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ الْمَلْحَمِيُّ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ بْنِ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «يَمْسَحُ الْمُسَافِرُ عَلَى خُفَّيْهِ ثَلَاثَةَ أَيَّامٍ، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller should wipe over his leather socks for three days, and for the resident it is one day and one night."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، ثنا عُمَرُ بْنُ يَحْيَى الْأُبُلِّيُّ، ثنا عَمْرُو بْنُ النُّعْمَانِ، ثنا زَكَرِيَّا أَبُو يَحْيَى الْبُدِّيُّ، حَدَّثَنِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ النَّخَعِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ فِي الْمَسْحِ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ: «يَوْمٌ وَلَيْلَةٌ لِلْمُقِيمِ، وَثَلَاثَةُ أَيَّامٍ وَلَيَالِيهِنَّ لِلْمُسَافِرِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said concerning wiping over leather socks: "For the resident, one day and one night; and for the traveller, three days and three nights."
