Abu Abdullah al-Jadali from Khuzaymah (may Allah be pleased with him)
Mu'jam Kabir Tabarani 3771 — the Prophet ﷺ said: The traveller should
حَدَّثَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ مُسَاوِرٍ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ، وَعَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، وَعَبْدَانُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ، قَالُوا: ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ أَبَانَ، ثنا عُبَيْدَةُ بْنُ الْأَسْوَدُ، عَنِ الْقَاسِمِ بْنِ الْوَلِيدِ، عَنِ الْحَارِثِ الْعُكْلِيِّ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ يَزِيدَ النَّخَعِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللهِ الْجَدَلِيِّ، عَنْ خُزَيْمَةَ بْنِ ثَابِتٍ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ أَنَّهُ قَالَ: «لِلْمُسَافِرِ ثَلَاثًا، وَلِلْمُقِيمِ يَوْمًا يَمْسَحُ عَلَى الْخُفَّيْنِ»
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Khuzaymah bin Thabit (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The traveller should wipe over leather socks for three days, and the resident for one day."
