It is narrated from Imam al-Hasan al-Basri (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "The price of Paradise is 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god worthy of worship except Allah)."
This narration is mawquf and sahih.

Ahmad bin Sa'id bin Rummanah narrates from his father that Wahb bin Munabbih (may Allah have mercy on him) was asked: "Is not 'La ilaha illallah' (there is no god worthy of worship except Allah) the key to Paradise?" He replied: "Yes, of course, that is quite right; but the reality is that there is no key without teeth. So whoever comes to the door (of Paradise) with a key that has teeth, the door will be opened for him; but whoever comes with a key that has no teeth, the door will not be opened for him."
This chain is hasan (good) and mawquf, and Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) cited it mu'allaq (without a chain) from Imam Wahb bin Munabbih (may Allah have mercy on him).

Imam Ishaq bin Rahwayh narrates from Wahb bin Munabbih (may Allah have mercy on him) that he said: "Faith is the leader (guiding from the front), and deeds are the driver (urging from behind), while the self is like a stubborn animal between the two. So when the leader leads but the driver does not drive from behind, this is of no benefit at all; and when the driver drives from behind, the self follows him willingly or under compulsion."
Takhrij and grading: This narration is found in Musnad Ishaq bin Rahwayh (2894); the narrators of its chain are thiqat (trustworthy), and it is the saying of the eminent Successor Wahb bin Munabbih (a maqtu' report).

Ibn al-Daylami narrates from one of the three men who used to serve Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the time of death of Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) drew near, I said to him: "Do I not see that your final hour has arrived?" He said: "Yes, and what an evil time this is for lying. (Listen!) Whoever dies in a state of firm certainty about three things: that he knows that Allah Almighty is the Truth, that the Hour will certainly be established, and that Allah Almighty will raise again all those who are in the graves," the narrator said: Then he said something by which he encouraged them (towards good); if those words were not "he will certainly be forgiven", then I do not know (the exact words).
There is an unnamed narrator (a servant of the Companion) in the chain of this hadith; however, on the basis of other supporting evidence its meaning is sound and established.

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said that Allah, the Blessed and Exalted, says: "Whoever among you knows and is certain that I have perfect power to forgive sins, I will forgive him and I will not care in the least, as long as he does not associate anything with Me."
Imam Abd bin Humayd recorded this narration in his Musnad; its chain contains a narrator named Ibrahim bin al-Hakam bin Aban, who is da'if (weak).
