Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, the example of the believer is like the honeybee, which eats what is pure and produces what is pure, and when it alights it neither breaks anything nor spoils anything."
Ahmad recorded it within a long hadith that has passed earlier, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih except Abu Sabrah, whom Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy.

Sayyiduna Abu Razin al-Uqayli (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The example of the believer is like the honeybee, which eats only what is pure and produces only what is pure."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Hajjaj bin Nusayr, who has been declared trustworthy despite his weakness; the remaining narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Before this, the hadith narrated by Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) has passed, that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to Sayyiduna Sa'd bin Abi Waqqas (may Allah be pleased with him): "Keep your food pure, and you will become one whose supplications are answered." This hadith has passed in "Chapter: One who eats the lawful or the unlawful".

Hadith Takhrij«اخرجه الطبراني فى المعجم الكبير (204/19) ، أخرجه المعجم الأوسط للطبراني برقم: 2658، 6491»
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "There are four things which, when they are in you, there is no harm upon you, whatever of this world you miss out on: guarding a trust, speaking the truth, good character, and caution in food (that is, eating only what is lawful)."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and the chains of both are hasan (good).
