بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَكَلَ طَيِّبًا حَلَّالًا .

عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ : أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " وَالَّذِي نَفْسِي بِيَدِهِ ، إِنَّ مَثَلَ الْمُؤْمِنِ كَمَثَلِ النَّحْلَةِ ، أَكَلَتْ طَيِّبًا وَوَضَعَتْ طَيِّبًا ، وَوَقَعَتْ فَلَمْ تَكْسِرْ وَلَمْ تُفْسِدْ " . رَوَاهُ أَحْمَدُ فِي حَدِيثٍ طَوِيلٍ تَقَدَّمَ ، وَرِجَالُهُ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ غَيْرَ أَبِي سَبْرَةَ ، وَقَدْ وَثَّقَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "By the One in whose Hand is my soul, the example of the believer is like the honeybee, which eats what is pure and produces what is pure, and when it alights it neither breaks anything nor spoils anything."
Ahmad recorded it within a long hadith that has passed earlier, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih except Abu Sabrah, whom Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy.
