Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "If two ravenous, hungry wolves entered a flock of goats, one at its front and the other at its rear, they would not cause as much ruin as the love of worldly honour and wealth causes to a man's religion."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except Muhammad bin Abd al-Malik bin Zanjawayh and Abdullah bin Muhammad bin Aqil, and both of them have been declared trustworthy.
