The daughter of Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) went out on a military expedition, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) kept looking after us, to the extent that he would milk our goat for us. He used to milk it into a large bowl, which would become full until it was about to overflow. She narrates: Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him) came and milked that goat, and it was only as much as it used to be before. She says: We said to Sayyiduna Khabbab (may Allah be pleased with him): "When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to milk it, he would fill the whole bowl from it, and when you milk it, it is less."
Ahmad and al-Tabarani recorded it, and the narrators of both are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Abd al-Rahman bin Zayd al-Qa'ish, and he is thiqah (trustworthy).
Sayyiduna Qays bin al-Nu'man al-Sakuni (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set out, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) was also with him; they were going while hiding from Quraysh. They passed by a shepherd. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Is there any goat that has been covered by a male?" He replied: "No! There is a goat here which cannot walk because of weakness." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Bring that very one to me!" He brought that goat to him. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed his hand over its udder and supplicated for blessing. Then he milked it and gave that milk to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) to drink; then he milked it and gave the shepherd to drink; then he milked it and drank himself. The shepherd said to him: "By Allah! I have never seen anyone like you. Who are you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "If I tell you, will you keep it hidden?" He said: "Yes!" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him), who is the Messenger of Allah." He said: "Are you the one about whom Quraysh say that he is irreligious?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "That is what they say." He said: "Then I bear witness that you are truly the Messenger of Allah, for what you have done can only be done by a Messenger." Then he asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Shall I come with you?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Not now. When you hear that we have prevailed, then come to us." The narrator says: So that man came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) after the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had prevailed in Madinah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
Sayyidah Umm Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I sent a domestic goat to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), but the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) returned it and said: "Send me a goat that does not give milk!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Hizam bin Hisham bin Hubaysh and his father, and both of them are thiqah (trustworthy).
Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him), who was the slave of Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him), narrates: We were with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). The narrator says: I think the words in the narration are: We were travelling. We camped at a place, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said to me: "O Sa'd! Go to that goat and milk it." The narrator says: A little earlier I had passed by that place, and there was no goat there. Then I came there, and there was a goat present whose udder was full of milk. I milked it. The narrator says: I do not know how many times. Then I entrusted this task to someone else and became busy myself with preparing the saddles, and in the meantime the goat went away. I was late in going to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) asked: "O Sa'd!" I said: "O Messenger of Allah! I became busy with the baggage, and that goat went away." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The goat has been taken away by its Lord (or its owner)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy). Before this, the hadith of Sayyidah Umm Ma'bad (may Allah be pleased with her) has already passed, which is about his (the Prophet's) description and about his emigration to Madinah, and it is transmitted through various routes.
