Sayyiduna Abu Ghadiyah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: On the day of al-Aqabah, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us and said: "O people, your lives and your wealth are sacred to one another until the day you meet your Lord, just as this day of yours is sacred, in this city of yours, in this month of yours. Behold, have I conveyed (the message)?" The people said: "Yes." The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "O Allah, be witness." (Then he said:) "Behold, do not turn back into disbelievers after me, striking one another's necks."

Hadith Takhrij«اخرجه احمد فى المسند (76/4) ، أخرجه مسند أحمد برقم: 20143»
In one narration the wording is: The narrator said: I gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I said: "With the right hand (or: with your oath)?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Yes." Then he addressed us on the day of al-Aqabah; after this the narrator mentioned the whole hadith.
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih. Its various chains will come in the chapter on trials (fitan); before this, various chains of it have passed in the chapter on the sermons during Hajj, and some chains will come in the chapter on trials.
