Al-Tabarani recorded this entire narration from Urwah with a single chain; Urwah's chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, in whom there is weakness, and his hadith falls within the bounds of hasan (good).
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah bin Sahl bin Hunayf (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna As'ad bin Zurarah (may Allah be pleased with him) was one of the leaders (nuqaba) on the night of al-Aqabah.
Al-Tabarani recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Zam'ah bin Salih, who is da'if (weak).
Sayyiduna Ka'b bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We set out at the time of the Hajj during which we gave the pledge of allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) at al-Aqabah.
