Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "I have been sent before the Hour with the sword, so that Allah Almighty alone is worshipped, who has no partner. My provision has been placed beneath the shade of my spear, and humiliation and abasement have been made the lot of whoever opposes my command."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Abd al-Rahman bin Thabit bin Thawban, whom Ali bin al-Madini and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Ahmad and others declared him da'if (weak); the rest of its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
