Amr bin Hurayth narrates: I came to Madinah and settled a division with a brother of mine. Sayyiduna Sa'id bin Zayd (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "No blessing is placed in the price of land or the price of a house when that price is not spent on some other land or house."
Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Qays bin al-Rabi', whom Shu'bah, al-Thawri and others declared thiqah (trustworthy), while Yahya bin Ma'in, Imam Ahmad and others called him da'if (weak).
