بَابٌ فِيمَنْ أَقَالَ أَخَاهُ بَيْعًا .
One who agrees to cancel a sale for his brother

عَنْ أَبِي شُرَيْحٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ أَقَالَ أَخَاهُ بَيْعًا أَقَالَهُ اللَّهُ عَثْرَتَهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Sayyiduna Abu Shurayh (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever agrees to cancel a sale for his brother, Allah Almighty will overlook his slips on the Day of Resurrection."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
