وَعَنْ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا مِنْ عَبْدٍ يَبِيعُ تَالِدًا إِلَّا سَلَّطَ اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ تَالِفًا " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَشِيرُ بْنُ شُرَيْحٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Imran bin Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whenever a servant (of Allah) sells something inherited (from his forefathers), Allah Almighty sets over him a destroyer (that is, something that wastes it)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Bashir bin Shurayh, who is da'if (weak).
