Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best earning is the earning of the worker's hand, when he works sincerely."
Ahmad recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

Sayyidah Aishah Siddiqah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah loves that when one of you does a piece of work, he does it with excellence."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains Mus'ab bin Thabit, whom Ibn Hibban declared trustworthy, while a group (of scholars) declared him da'if (weak).

Asim bin Kulayb narrates from his father that he went out with his father to attend a funeral which the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) also attended. The narrator says: At that time I was a boy, but one who understood. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah loves the worker, when he works, to do his work well."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Qutbah bin al-Ala', who is da'if (weak), while Ibn Adi said: I hope there is no harm in him; and its chain contains a group of narrators whom I do not know.

A woman named Sirin narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a gap in a grave and ordered that it be closed. It was said: "O Messenger of Allah! Will this benefit him (the deceased)?" He said: "It will neither benefit him nor harm him, but it will comfort the eyes of the living." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say:
This is reported within a long hadith concerning the virtues of Sayyiduna Ibrahim (may Allah be pleased with him).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains al-Waqidi, who is da'if (weak), though he has also been declared trustworthy.
