عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ وَافَقَ صِيَامُهُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ وَعَادَ مَرِيضًا وَشَهِدَ جِنَازَةً وَتَصَدَّقَ وَأَعْتَقَ وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَفِيهِ ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ وَفِيهِ كَلَامٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "Whoever fasts on the day of Friday, visits a sick person, attends a funeral, gives charity and frees a slave, Paradise becomes due for him."
Abu Ya'la recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ibn Lahi'ah, about whom there has been criticism.

وَعَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " خَمْسٌ مَنْ عَمِلَهُنَّ فِي يَوْمٍ كَتَبَهُ اللَّهُ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْجَنَّةِ : مَنْ صَامَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَرَاحَ إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ ، وَشَهِدَ جِنَازَةً وَأَعْتَقَ رَقَبَةً " ، قُلْتُ : وَسَقَطَ : " وَعَادَ مَرِيضًا " فِيمَا أَحْسَبُ .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that he heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: "There are five deeds which, if a person does them in one day, Allah Almighty will record him among the people of Paradise: whoever fasts on the day of Friday, goes to offer the Friday prayer, attends a funeral and frees a slave." (Al-Haythami says:) I say: I think that this has dropped out of it: "and visits a sick person."
Abu Ya'la recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ صَلَّى الْجُمُعَةَ وَصَامَ يَوْمَهُ وَعَادَ مَرِيضًا وَشَهِدَ جِنَازَةً وَشَهِدَ نِكَاحًا وَجَبَتْ لَهُ الْجَنَّةُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَرِجَالُهُ فِيهِمْ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ حَفْصٍ الْأَوْصَابِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ وَقَدْ ذَكَرَهُ ابْنُ حِبَّانَ فِي الثِّقَاتِ وَقَالَ : يُغْرِبُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever offers the Friday prayer, fasts that day, visits a sick person, attends a funeral and attends a marriage, Paradise becomes due for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; among its narrators is Muhammad bin Hafs al-Awsabi, who is da'if (weak). Ibn Hibban mentioned him in the book al-Thiqat and said that he narrates gharib (unusual) narrations.

عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ قَالَ : خَطَبَنَا النَّبِيُّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - ذَاتَ يَوْمٍ فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ اللَّهَ كَتَبَ عَلَيْكُمُ الْجُمُعَةَ فِي مَقَامِي هَذَا فِي سَاعَتِي هَذِهِ فِي شَهْرِي هَذَا فِي عَامِي هَذَا إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَامَةِ ، مَنْ تَرَكَهَا مِنْ غَيْرِ عُذْرٍ مَعَ إِمَامٍ عَادِلٍ أَوْ إِمَامٍ جَائِرٍ فَلَا جَمَعَ اللَّهُ لَهُ شَمْلَهُ وَلَا بُورِكَ لَهُ فِي أَمْرِهِ ، أَلَا وَلَا صَلَاةَ لَهُ ، أَلَا وَلَا حَجَّ لَهُ ، أَلَا وَلَا بِرَّ لَهُ ، أَلَا وَلَا صَدَقَةَ لَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ مُوسَى بْنُ عَطِيَّةَ الْبَاهِلِيُّ وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ وَبَقِيَّةُ رِجَالِهِ ثِقَاتٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu Sa'id al-Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: One day the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) addressed us in a sermon and said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty has made Friday obligatory upon you, while I stand in this place, in this hour, in this month, in this year, (that is, from this time) until the Day of Resurrection. Whoever abandons it without an excuse, whether under a just ruler or an oppressive ruler, Allah Almighty will not bring his affairs together, and no blessing will be placed for him in his affair. Beware, that person's prayer will not count! Beware, that person's Hajj will not count! Beware, no good deed of that person will be accepted! Beware, that person's charity will not be accepted!"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Musa bin Atiyyah al-Bahili, and I did not find anyone who has given an account of him; the rest of the narrators of this narration are thiqat (trustworthy).

Hadith Takhrij «أخرجه المعجم الأوسط للطبراني برقم: 7242»
وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَنْ كَانَ يُؤْمِنُ بِاللَّهِ وَالْيَوْمِ الْآخِرِ فَعَلَيْهِ الْجُمُعَةَ إِلَّا عَبْدٌ أَوِ امْرَأَةٌ أَوْ صَبِيٌّ ، وَمَنِ اسْتَغْنَى بِلَهْوٍ أَوْ تِجَارَةٍ اسْتَغْنَى اللَّهُ عَنْهُ وَاللَّهُ غَنِيٌّ حَمِيدٌ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ مِنْ رِوَايَةِ عَبْدِ الْعَظِيمِ بْنِ رَغْبَانَ عَنْ أَبِي مَعْشَرٍ ، وَأَبُو مَعْشَرٍ أَقْرَبُ إِلَى الضَّعْفِ ، وَعَبْدُ الْعَظِيمِ لَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ تَرْجَمَهُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever believes in Allah Almighty and the Last Day, offering the Friday prayer is obligatory upon him, except that the case of a slave, a woman or a child is different. And whoever turns away from it, treating himself as free of need of it, because of some amusement or trade, Allah Almighty will be free of need of that person, and Allah Almighty is Free of all needs, Worthy of all praise."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat as a narration of Abd al-Azim bin Raghban from Abu Ma'shar. The narrator Abu Ma'shar is closer to being da'if (weak), and I did not find anyone who has given an account of the narrator Abd al-Azim.

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الْجُمُعَةُ وَاجِبَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى مَا مَلَكَتْ أَيْمَانُكُمْ أَوْ ذِي عِلَّةٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَأَبُو الْبِلَادِ قَالَ أَبُو حَاتِمٍ : لَا يُحْتَجُّ بِهِ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Friday is obligatory, except that the case of one who is owned by someone, or who suffers from an ailment (that is, an illness), is different."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. About the narrator named Abu al-Bilad, Abu Hatim said: He is not to be used as evidence.

وَعَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " الْجُمُعَةُ وَاجِبَةٌ إِلَّا عَلَى امْرَأَةٍ أَوْ صَبِيٍّ أَوْ مَرِيضٍ أَوْ عَبْدٍ أَوْ مُسَافِرٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَفِيهِ ضِرَارٌ ، رَوَى عَنِ التَّابِعِينَ ، وَأَظُنُّهُ ابْنَ عَمْرٍو الْمَلْطِيَّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abu al-Darda' (may Allah be pleased with him) reports this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Friday is obligatory, except that the case of a woman, a child, a sick person, a slave or a traveller is different (that is, it is not obligatory upon them)."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Dirar, who narrates from the Tabi'in. I think he is Ibn Amr al-Malti, and he is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " خَمْسَةٌ لَا جُمُعَةَ عَلَيْهِمُ ؛ الْمَرْأَةُ وَالْمُسَافِرُ وَالْعَبْدُ وَالصَّبِيُّ وَأَهْلُ الْبَادِيَةِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ وَفِيهِ إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ حَمَّادٍ ضَعَّفَهُ الدَّارَقُطْنِيُّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Friday is not obligatory upon five kinds of people: a woman, a traveller, a child, a slave and a person who lives in the desert countryside."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Hammad, whom al-Daraqutni declared da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَيْسَ عَلَى النِّسَاءِ غَزْوٌ وَلَا جُمُعَةٌ وَلَا تَشْيِيعُ جَنَازَةٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الصَّغِيرِ وَرُوَاتُهُ كُلُّهُمْ مِنْ ذُرِّيَّةِ أَبِي قَتَادَةَ وَفِيهِمْ مَجَاهِيلُ .
Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Taking part in battle, offering the Friday prayer and accompanying a funeral are not obligatory upon women."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Saghir. All the narrators of this narration are from the descendants of Sayyiduna Abu Qatadah (may Allah be pleased with him), and among them are majhul (unknown) narrators.

Hadith Takhrij «أخرجه المعجم الصغير للطبراني برقم: 1142»
وَعَنْ سَمُرَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - أَمَرَنَا أَنْ نَشْهَدَ الْجُمُعَةَ وَلَا نَغِيبَ عَنْهَا وَقَالَ : " أَحَدُكُمْ أَحَقُّ بِمَجْلِسِهِ إِذَا رَجَعَ إِلَيْهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الْبَزَّارُ وَفِيهِ يُوسُفُ بْنُ خَالِدٍ السَّمْتِيُّ وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
قُلْتُ : وَتَأْتِي أَحَادِيثُ بَعْدُ فِي تَارِكِ الْجُمُعَةِ إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ .
Sayyiduna Samurah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered us to attend the Friday prayer and not to be absent from it, and he said: Each one of you has more right to his place when he returns to it.
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Yusuf bin Khalid al-Samti, who is da'if (weak). I say: Hadiths about the one who abandons the Friday prayer will come later, if Allah wills.
