Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to clip his nails and trim his moustache on the day of Friday; he would do so before going out to the Friday prayer.
Al-Bazzar and al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Ibrahim bin Qudamah. Al-Bazzar says: He is not a proof when he is alone in narrating a hadith, and this narrator is alone in narrating this narration too. (Al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Hibban (may Allah have mercy on him) mentioned him in the book al-Thiqat.
