Abu Amr al-Shaybani says: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to make rounds in the mosque, and whomever he found he would put out, except for someone who was praying.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators have been deemed trustworthy (muwaththaq).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Among the signs of the Hour is that a man will pass through the length and breadth of the mosque and not pray two rak'ahs in it."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, except for Salamah bin Kuhayl, whose case is different: although he heard from the Companions, I have not found any hadith reported from him that he narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the last times there will be people who sit in the mosques in circles, whose aim will be the world. Do not sit with these people, for Allah Almighty will have no need of them."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Bazi' Abu al-Khalil, who has been accused of fabricating hadith.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Everything has its rubbish (or refuse), and the rubbish of the mosque is that it be said: 'No, by Allah!' 'Yes, by Allah!'"
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and Abu Ya'la also recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Rishdin bin Sa'd, about whom there is criticism, and some have declared him thiqah (trustworthy).

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not make the mosques into passageways; (come to the mosques) only for remembrance (dhikr) or prayer." I say: Ibn Majah recorded this narration, but it does not contain the words: "only for remembrance or prayer (come to the mosques)".
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been deemed trustworthy (muwaththaq).
