بَابٌ فِيمَنْ دَخَلَ الْمَسْجِدَ لِغَيْرِ صَلَاةٍ وَنَحْوِ ذَلِكَ .

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " لَا تَتَّخِذُوا الْمَسَاجِدَ طُرُقًا إِلَّا لِذِكْرٍ أَوْ صَلَاةٍ " .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ خَلَا قَوْلَهُ : " إِلَّا لِذِكْرٍ أَوْ صَلَاةٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .
قُلْتُ : رَوَاهُ ابْنُ مَاجَهْ خَلَا قَوْلَهُ : " إِلَّا لِذِكْرٍ أَوْ صَلَاةٍ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Do not make the mosques into passageways; (come to the mosques) only for remembrance (dhikr) or prayer." I say: Ibn Majah recorded this narration, but it does not contain the words: "only for remembrance or prayer (come to the mosques)".
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been deemed trustworthy (muwaththaq).
