Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Each person should pray in his own mosque; he should not go seeking out different mosques."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been deemed trustworthy (muwaththaq), except for al-Tabarani's teacher Muhammad bin Ahmad bin al-Nadr al-Tirmidhi, whose case is different; I have not found anyone who has given his biography. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Ibn Hibban mentioned in his book "al-Thiqat", among the people of the fourth tier, a narrator named Muhammad bin Ahmad bin al-Nadr, the grandson of Mu'awiyah bin Amr through his daughter; I do not know whether this is the same person or someone else.
