Abu al-Rabi' narrates: I was with Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) at a funeral. I heard a man shouting loudly, and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) sent word to him and had him silenced. I said: O Abu Abdul Rahman, why did you have him silenced? He said: The deceased is hurt by it until he enters his grave. I said to him: I offered the morning prayer behind you, then I turned and could not see the person beside me, and sometimes you offer it in the light. Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) pray like this, and I love to offer it just as I saw the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) offer it.
Imam Ahmad recorded it. Regarding the narrator Abu al-Rabi', Imam al-Daraqutni (may Allah have mercy on him) said that he is majhul (unknown).

Sayyiduna Abu Abdul Rahman al-Sunabihi (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "My Ummah will continue upon goodness as long as they do not do three things: as long as they do not delay Maghrib so much that they wait for darkness, which is the way of the Jews; as long as they do not delay Fajr so much that they wait for the stars to fade away, which is the way of the Christians; and as long as they do not leave the funerals to the family of the deceased."
Imam Ahmad recorded it; its chain contains al-Salt bin al-Awwam, who is majhul (unknown), as al-Husayni stated. Some hadiths on this subject have already passed in the chapter on the Maghrib prayer.

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: A man asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the time of the morning prayer. He said: Offer this prayer behind me today and tomorrow. When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) reached the plain of Namirah at al-Juhfah, he offered this prayer when true dawn had broken. Then when he reached Dhu Tuwa, he delayed it, until people began saying: Has the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed away? Then people said: It would be better if we prayed. Meanwhile the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) came out and offered this prayer before the sun. Then he turned to the people and said: What were you saying? The people said: We said that it would be better if we prayed. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Had you done so, a punishment would have befallen you. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) called the man who had asked and said: The time of the prayer is between these two times.
Imam Abu Ya'la and Imam al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir recorded it as a narration of Ali bin Abdullah bin Abbas from Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him), and Ali did not live in the time of Sayyiduna Zayd bin Harithah (may Allah be pleased with him).
