Further reports on the time of Fajr prayer

Sayyiduna Ali bin Abi Talib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: We used to offer the morning prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and none of us could recognise one another (because of the darkness).
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it, and its narrators are "thiqat (trustworthy)".

Sayyiduna Urwah bin Mudarris (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to offer the morning prayer when true dawn had broken.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Dawud bin Yazid al-Awdi, whom Yahya bin Ma'in and Imam al-Nasa'i (may Allah have mercy on him) declared da'if (weak); Shu'bah and Sufyan narrated hadith from him. Ibn Adi said: I have not seen any munkar (objectionable) narration from him when a "thiqah (trustworthy)" person narrated from him. Although this man is not strong in hadith, when a "thiqah (trustworthy)" person narrates hadith from him, his hadith will be accepted.

Sayyiduna Harmalah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) with the delegation of my tribe. He led us in the morning prayer, and when he concluded with salam, I looked at the face of the man beside me but, because of the darkness, I could not recognise him. I said to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): O Messenger of Allah! Give me some counsel. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Keep fearing Allah Almighty; and if you are among some people and you hear them saying about you something that pleases you, then do it; and if you hear them saying about you something you dislike, then leave it.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir as a narration of Dirghamah bin Ulayyah bin Harmalah from his father, from his grandfather. Ibn Abi Hatim mentioned him with what we have mentioned here and did not refute it. The remaining narrators of this report have been declared trustworthy, and Ibn Hibban mentioned both narrators, Dirghamah and Harmalah, in the book "al-Thiqat".

Sayyidah Umm Salamah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: Women used to attend the morning prayer behind the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), then they would return wrapped in their cloaks, and they could not be recognised because of the darkness.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators are the narrators of the "Sahih", except for al-Tabarani's teacher.

Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once I called the adhan for the morning prayer on a cold day, and people were slow to come to the prayer. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Bilal, what is the matter with the people? I said: The cold has held them back. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Allah, take the cold away from them. Sayyiduna Bilal (may Allah be pleased with him) says: Then I saw the people fanning themselves (because of the warmth) in the morning prayer.
Imam al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains Ayyub bin Sayyar, who is "da'if (weak)".

Amr bin Dinar narrates that he heard the son of Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) say: Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) used to offer the morning prayer in the darkness, just as Sayyiduna Abdullah bin al-Zubayr (may Allah be pleased with them both) offered it in the darkness, and he would offer the Maghrib prayer when the sun had set. He used to say that it is as Allah Almighty has said: "Until the darkness of the night, and the recitation at Fajr; indeed, the recitation at Fajr is ever witnessed (by the angels)."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator who is not named.

Sayyiduna Umarah bin Ruwaybah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever offers the prayer before sunrise and the prayer before sunset, and bears witness that there is no god but Allah, will enter Paradise."
(Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: From this Companion, this hadith is narrated in the "Sahih": "No one who offers the prayer before sunrise and the prayer before sunset will enter Hellfire." Imam al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.

Abu Ubaydah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Sayyiduna Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) used to say: The angels appointed by Allah Almighty come one after another; the guardians of the night come, and the guardians of the day come, at the time of true dawn. If you wish, recite (in support of this) this verse: "And the recitation at Fajr; indeed, the recitation at Fajr is witnessed."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded it, and the narrator Abu Ubaydah did not hear from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)).
