Sayyiduna Jubayr bin Mut'im (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "A man of Quraysh has been given twice the strength of a man not from Quraysh." The narrator says: I asked al-Zuhri: What did the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) mean by this? He replied: Soundness of judgement.
Ahmad recorded it, and Ahmad's narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.

Sayyiduna Mu'adh bin Jabal (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) intended to send Sayyiduna Mu'adh (may Allah be pleased with him) to Yemen, he consulted some of his Companions about it, among whom were Sayyiduna Abu Bakr, Sayyiduna Umar, Sayyiduna Uthman, Sayyiduna Ali, Sayyiduna Talhah, Sayyiduna al-Zubayr and Sayyiduna Usayd bin Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with them). The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sought their counsel, and Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Had you not sought our counsel, we would not have spoken. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: In matters about which nothing has been revealed to me, I am like any one of you. So those present began to speak, and each person stated his opinion. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: O Mu'adh, what is your opinion? I said: My opinion is the same as what Sayyiduna Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) has stated. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Indeed, Allah Almighty, above the heavens, dislikes that Abu Bakr should err."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Abu al-Atuf, and I have not seen anyone who has written a biography of him; he narrates from al-Wadin bin Ata'. The rest of its narrators have been declared trustworthy.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was going around a date-palm orchard in Madinah. The people began to say: Its yield will be one wasq. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Its yield will be such and such. The people said: Allah and His Messenger have spoken the truth. Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I am a human being like you. Whatever I tell you from Allah Almighty is the truth, and whatever I say from myself, then I am a human being: I may give a correct opinion and I may also err.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and its chain is hasan (good), except for al-Bazzar's teacher Isma'il bin Abdullah al-Asbahani, for I have not seen anyone who has written a biography of him.

Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whatever I tell you is from Allah Almighty, that is something in which there is no doubt."
Al-Bazzar recorded it; its chain contains a narrator, Ahmad bin Mansur al-Ramadi, who is thiqah (trustworthy); some criticism has been made of him, but it does no harm. The rest of its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih, and there is disagreement about the narrator Abdullah bin Salih.

Sayyiduna Jabir bin Abdullah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: Once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) passed by some people who were pollinating date palms. He said: I do not think this is of any benefit. That year the people abandoned the practice, and their yield decreased. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was told of this, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: You know better what is most suitable for your worldly affairs.
Al-Bazzar recorded it, and al-Tabarani recorded a report with this meaning in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; its chain contains a narrator, Mujalid bin Sa'id, who suffered from confusion (ikhtilat).
