بَابٌ فِيمَنْ يَرْبُطُ الشَّيْءَ يَسْتَذْكِرُ بِهِ .

عَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ قَالَ : رَأَيْتُ فِي يَدِ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - خَيْطًا ، فَقُلْتُ : مَا هَذَا ؟ قَالَ : " أَسْتَذْكِرُ بِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ غِيَاثُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ جِدًّا .

Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) said: I saw a thread (tied) on the hand of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), so I asked: What is this for? He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I remember things by means of it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Ghiyath bin Ibrahim, who is extremely da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَرْبُطُ الْخَيْطَ فِي خَاتَمِهِ يَسْتَذْكِرُ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ : أَنَّ غِيَاثَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الضَّعِيفَ يُكَنَّى أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ بَقِيَّةُ .
