بَابٌ فِيمَنْ نَشَرَ عِلْمًا ، أَوْ دَلَّ عَلَى خَيْرٍ ، أَوْ عَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ .

عَنْ سَمُرَةَ بْنِ جُنْدُبٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " مَا تَصَّدَّقَ النَّاسُ بِصَدَقَةٍ مِثْلِ عِلْمٍ يُنْشَرُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَوْنُ بْنُ عُمَارَةَ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .

Sayyiduna Samurah bin Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "People have not given any charity like the spreading of knowledge."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains Awn bin Umarah, who is da'if (weak).

وَعَنْ أَنَسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَلَا أُخْبِرُكُمْ عَنِ الْأَجْوَدِ الْأَجْوَدِ ؟ اللَّهُ الْأَجْوَدُ الْأَجْوَدُ ، وَأَنَا أَجْوَدُ وَلَدِ آدَمَ ، وَأَجْوَدُهُمْ مِنْ بَعْدِي رَجُلٌ عَلِمَ عِلْمًا فَنَشَرَ عِلْمَهُ ، يُبْعَثُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ أُمَّةً وَحْدَهُ ، وَرَجُلٌ جَادَ بِنَفْسِهِ لِلَّهِ - عَزَّ وَجَلَّ - حَتَّى يُقْتَلَ " .
رَوَاهُ أَبُو يَعْلَى ، وَفِيهِ سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ .

Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Shall I not tell you about the most generous of all? Allah Almighty is the most generous, the most generous; and among the children of Adam I am the most generous; and after me the most generous is the man who acquires knowledge and then spreads his knowledge, he will be raised on the Day of Resurrection as a nation by himself; and the man (who is also most generous) who offers his life in the way of Allah until he is martyred."

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " نِعْمَ الْعَطِيَّةُ كَلِمَةُ حَقٍّ تَسْمَعُهَا ، ثُمَّ تَحْمِلُهَا إِلَى أَخٍ لَكَ مُسْلِمٍ ، فَتُعَلِّمُهَا إِيَّاهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ الْحُصَيْنِ الْعُقَيْلِيُّ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ .

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "An excellent gift is a word of truth that you hear and then convey to your Muslim brother, and teach it to him."

وَعَنْ بُرَيْدَةَ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ لِرَجُلٍ : " اذْهَبْ ; فَإِنَّ الدَّالَّ عَلَى الْخَيْرِ كَفَاعِلِهِ " .

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " الدَّالُّ عَلَى الْخَيْرِ كَفَاعِلِهِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَفِيهِ عِمْرَانُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، يَرْوِي عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، وَيَرْوِي عَنْهُ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَائِشَةَ ، وَلَيْسَ هُوَ عِمْرَانَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سَعِيدِ بْنِ الْمُسَيَّبِ ; لِأَنَّ ذَاكَ مَدَنِيٌّ . وَقَالَ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي هَذَا : إِنَّهُ بَصْرِيٌّ ، وَابْنُ سَعِيدٍ لَمْ يَسْمَعْ مِنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ ، وَلَمْ أَجِدْ مَنْ ذَكَرَ هَذَا .

He is not Imran bin Muhammad bin Sa'id bin al-Musayyab, because that one is from Madinah. Al-Tabarani said about this narrator: He is from Basrah. Ibn Sa'id did not hear from Abu Hazim, and I have not found anyone who mentions this narrator.

وَعَنْ أَبِي أُمَامَةَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " خِيَارُكُمْ مَنْ تَعَلَّمَ الْقُرْآنَ وَعَلَّمَهُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ الْبَزَّارُ ، ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَابْنُ عَدِيٍّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ الْبَزَّارُ ، ضَعَّفَهُ يَحْيَى بْنُ مَعِينٍ وَابْنُ عَدِيٍّ .
Sayyiduna Abu Umamah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The best of you are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it."
