وَعَنْ رَافِعِ بْنِ خَدِيجٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - كَانَ يَرْبُطُ الْخَيْطَ فِي خَاتَمِهِ يَسْتَذْكِرُ بِهِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ : أَنَّ غِيَاثَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الضَّعِيفَ يُكَنَّى أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ بَقِيَّةُ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ بَقِيَّةُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، قَالَ الْبُخَارِيُّ : أَنَّ غِيَاثَ بْنَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الضَّعِيفَ يُكَنَّى أَبَا عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، وَرَوَى عَنْهُ بَقِيَّةُ .
Sayyiduna Rafi' bin Khadij (may Allah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) used to tie a thread on his ring so as to remember something by it.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain mentions: Baqiyyah narrated it from Abu Abd al-Rahman. Imam Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) said: Ghiyath bin Ibrahim, who is a da'if (weak) narrator, has the kunyah Abu Abd al-Rahman, and Baqiyyah narrated from him.
