Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) wrote in a letter to al-Mundhir bin Sawa: "Whoever performs our prayer and eats our slaughtered meat will be counted a Muslim, and the protection of Allah and of His Messenger will be (established) for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, al-Hasan bin Idris al-Hulwani. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I have not seen anyone who has mentioned him. Moreover, this report is narrated by Abu Ubaydah from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)), although he (that is, Abu Ubaydah) did not hear from his father (Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him)).

Sayyiduna Jundub (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever performs our prayer, faces our qiblah and eats our slaughtered meat will be counted a Muslim; the protection of Allah and the protection of His Messenger will be (established) for him."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir. I have not been able to find the biography of a narrator named Ubayd bin Ubaydah al-Tammar.

Hadith Takhrij «
It is narrated about Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Ma'iz (may Allah be pleased with him) that he came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Ma'iz has accepted Islam and thereby secured his wealth; now no one will commit an offence against him except his own hand." The narrator says: So I pledged allegiance to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) on that.
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Hunayd bin al-Qasim, who is majhul (unknown).
