قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الْخَطِّ ، فَقَالَ : " هُوَ أَثَارَةٌ مِنْ عِلْمٍ " .
وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
وَرِجَالُ أَحْمَدَ رِجَالُ الصَّحِيحِ .
Tabarani recorded this in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat; he says: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about drawing lines (that is, geomancy), and he said: "It is part of the remnant of knowledge (which is mentioned in the Qur'an)."
