بَابُ الْخِلَافَةِ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَالنَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لَهُمْ .

وَعَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " النَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ فِي الْخَيْرِ وَالشَّرِّ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ ، وَإِسْنَادُهُ حَسَنٌ .

Sayyiduna Sahl bin Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) reports that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In good and evil (in every matter), the people are followers of Quraysh."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, and its chain is hasan (good).
