بَابُ الْخِلَافَةِ فِي قُرَيْشٍ وَالنَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لَهُمْ .
The caliphate is in Quraysh and people follow them

وَعَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - : " أَمَانُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الْغَرَقِ الْقَوْسُ ، وَأَمَانُ أَهْلِ الْأَرْضِ مِنَ الِاخْتِلَافِ الْمُوَالَاةُ لِقُرَيْشٍ ، قُرَيْشُ أَهْلُ اللَّهِ ، فَإِذَا خَالَفَتْهَا قَبِيلَةٌ مِنَ الْعَرَبِ صَارُوا حِزْبَ إِبْلِيسَ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " وَأَمَانُ أُمَّتِي مِنَ الِاخْتِلَافِ " .
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : وَقَالَ : " قُرَيْشٌ أَهْلُ اللَّهِ " . ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ .
وَفِيهِ خُلَيْدُ بْنُ دَعْلَجٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ وَالْأَوْسَطِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " وَأَمَانُ أُمَّتِي مِنَ الِاخْتِلَافِ " .
وَفِي رِوَايَةٍ : وَقَالَ : " قُرَيْشٌ أَهْلُ اللَّهِ " . ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ .
وَفِيهِ خُلَيْدُ بْنُ دَعْلَجٍ ، وَهُوَ ضَعِيفٌ .
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The safety of the people of the earth from drowning is the bow (perhaps meaning the appearance of the rainbow), and the safety of the people of the earth from discord is loyalty to Quraysh. Quraysh are the people of Allah. When any tribe of the Arabs opposes them, they will become the party of Iblis."
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir and al-Mu'jam al-Awsat, though his wording is: "The safety of my Ummah from discord." In one narration the wording is: He said: "Quraysh are the people of Allah." He said this three times. Its chain contains Khulayd bin Da'laj, who is da'if (weak).
