Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates: When the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) had performed the Fajr prayer, we would turn towards him (peace and blessings be upon him). Some of us would ask him (peace and blessings be upon him) about the Qur'an, some of us would ask him (peace and blessings be upon him) about inheritance, and some of us would ask him (peace and blessings be upon him) about dreams (and their interpretation).
Al-Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Muhammad bin Umar al-Rawi, whom Abu Dawud and Abu Zur'ah declared da'if (weak), while Ibn Hibban declared him thiqah (trustworthy).
