وَعَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْمَخْزُومِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ أَنْ سَعْدًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - عَنِ الْوَصِيَّةِ، فَقَالَ لَهُ : " الرُّبْعُ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ ، وَرِجَالُهُ ثِقَاتٌ .

Uthman bin Abd al-Rahman al-Makhzumi narrates from his father, from his grandfather: Sayyiduna Sa'd (may Allah be pleased with him) asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about the will, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "(Make a will for) one quarter."
Al-Tabarani recorded it, and its narrators are thiqat (trustworthy).
