Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 654

Sayyiduna Abu Qirsafah (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Narrate from me what you have heard. It is not permissible for any man to attribute a lie to me. Whoever attributes a lie to me (the narrator is unsure, or perhaps the wording is:) whoever says on my authority something other than what I said, a house will be built for him in Hell in which he will dwell."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its chain is such that I have not seen anyone mention its narrators.
