بَابٌ فِيمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
One who lies about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)

وَعَنِ السَّائِبِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَرِجَالُهُ مُوَثَّقُونَ .

Sayyiduna al-Sa'ib bin Yazid (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me should prepare to reach his designated abode in Hell."
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir, and its narrators have been declared trustworthy.
