وَعَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ وَكِيلِ الزُبَيْرِ بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ الْبَصْرِيِّ أَنَّ بَنِي صُهَيْبٍ قَالُوا لِصُهَيْبٍ : يَا أَبَانَا ، إِنَّ أَبْنَاءَ أَصْحَابِ النَّبِيِّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يُحَدِّثُونَ عَنْ آبَائِهِمْ ، فَقَالَ : سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " ، فَذَكَرَ الْحَدِيثَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَهْرَمَانُ [ آلِ ] الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ قَهْرَمَانُ [ آلِ ] الزُّبَيْرِ ، وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكُ الْحَدِيثِ .
Amr bin Dinar, who was the agent of al-Zubayr bin Shu'ayb al-Basri, narrates: The sons of Sayyiduna Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) said to Sayyiduna Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him): "O our father! We see that the sons of the Companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) narrate hadith on the authority of their fathers?" So Sayyiduna Suhayb (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me should prepare to reach his designated abode in Hell.'" Then the narrator mentioned the full hadith.
Tabarani recorded it in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Amr bin Dinar, the steward of the family of al-Zubayr, and he is matruk al-hadith (abandoned in hadith).
