بَابٌ فِيمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
One who lies about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)

وَعَنْ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ عَمَّارَ بْنَ يَاسِرٍ يَقُولُ لِأَبِي مُوسَى : أَنْشُدُكَ اللَّهَ أَلَمْ تَسْمَعْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - يَقُولُ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " ؟ فَسَكَتَ أَبُو مُوسَى ، وَلَمْ يَقُلْ شَيْئًا .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَزَوَّرِ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَيُقَالُ لَهُ : عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي فَاطِمَةَ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْكَبِيرِ ، وَفِيهِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْحَزَوَّرِ ، ضَعَّفَهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ وَغَيْرُهُ ، وَيُقَالُ لَهُ : عَلِيُّ بْنُ أَبِي فَاطِمَةَ .
Abu Maryam narrates: I heard Sayyiduna Ammar bin Yasir (may Allah be pleased with him) say to Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him): "I ask you by Allah: did you not hear the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him prepare to take his particular seat in Hell'?" The narrator says: Sayyiduna Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (may Allah be pleased with him) remained silent and did not say anything.
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir; its chain contains a narrator, Ali bin al-Hazawwar, whom Imam al-Bukhari (may Allah have mercy on him) and others declared da'if (weak); he is also called Ali bin Abi Fatimah.
