بَابٌ فِيمَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - .
One who lies about the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)

وَعَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَرْقَمَ وَالْبَرَاءِ بْنِ عَازِبٍ أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ - صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ - قَالَ : " مَنْ كَذَبَ عَلَيَّ مُتَعَمِّدًا فَلْيَتَبَوَّأْ مَقْعَدَهُ مِنَ النَّارِ " .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَقَالَ : لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ إِلَّا مُوسَى بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ . قُلْتُ : وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ شِيعِيٌّ .
رَوَاهُ الطَّبَرَانِيُّ فِي الْأَوْسَطِ ، وَقَالَ : لَمْ يَرْوِهِ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ إِلَّا مُوسَى بْنُ عِمْرَانَ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ . قُلْتُ : وَهُوَ مَتْرُوكٌ شِيعِيٌّ .
Sayyiduna Zayd bin Arqam (may Allah be pleased with him) and Sayyiduna al-Bara' bin Azib (may Allah be pleased with him) narrate this saying of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "Whoever deliberately attributes a lie to me, let him prepare to take his particular seat in Hell."
Imam al-Tabarani recorded this narration in al-Mu'jam al-Awsat. He says: No one narrated it from Abu Ishaq except a narrator named Musa bin Imran al-Hadrami. (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: This man is matruk (abandoned) and a Shi'i.
