Majma al-Zawaid — Hadith 630

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The greatest lie is that a man shows his eyes what they have not seen (that is, he narrates a false dream), and among the greatest lies is also that a person narrates from me something that I did not say." (Allamah al-Haythami says:) I say: Only the opening part of it is reported in the "Sahih".
Imam al-Bazzar recorded this narration, and its narrators are the narrators of the Sahih.
