عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ سُلَيْمَانَ الأَحْوَلِ ، عَنْ مُجَاهِدٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِيَاضٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِ ، قَالَ : لَمَّا " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الأَوْعِيَةِ " قِيلَ لَهُ : لَيْسَ لِكُلِّ النَّاسِ سِقَاءٌ ، " فَأَذِنَ لَهُمْ فِي الْجَرِّ غَيْرَ الْمُزَفَّتِ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Amr bin al-As (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) forbade (the use of certain) vessels, it was submitted to him that not everyone has a water-skin. So the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) permitted the use of other vessels except those coated with tar.
