أَنْبَأَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُوَيْدٍ ، عَنْ مُعَاذَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهَا ، قَالَتْ : " نَهَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الدُّبَّاءِ وَالْحَنْتَمِ وَالنَّقِيرِ وَالْمُزَفَّتِ " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade (the use of) dried gourd vessels, green pitchers, vessels made from the root of date palms, and vessels coated with tar.
