عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، " أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ كَانَ يُنْبَذُ لَهُ فِي سِقَاءٍ ، فَإِنْ لَمْ يَكُنْ فَتَوْرٌ مِنْ حِجَارَةٍ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) that Nabidh was prepared for the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) in a waterskin; if that was not available, then in a stone vessel (such as a pot, etc.).
