عَنْ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ ، عَنْ نَافِعٍ ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، " أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَطَعَ سَارِقًا فِي مِجَنٍّ قِيمَتُهُ ثَلاثَةُ دَرَاهِمَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) cut off the hand of a thief for stealing a shield whose price was three dirhams.
