عَنْ سُفْيَانَ بْنِ عُيَيْنَةَ ، وَعُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ ، عَنْ عَمْرَةَ ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " تُقْطَعُ يَدُ السَّارِقِ فِي رُبُعِ دِينَارٍ فَصَاعِدًا " .
It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'mineen Sayyidah Aisha (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The thief's hand will be cut off for a quarter of a dinar or more."
