قَالَ اللهُ تَعَالَى {أُحِلَّ لَكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَحْرِ وَطَعَامُهُ مَتَاعًا لَكُمْ وَلِلسَّيَّارَةِ وَحُرِّمَ عَلَيْكُمْ صَيْدُ الْبَرِّ مَا دُمْتُمْ حُرُمًا} [المائدة: 96].
Allah Almighty says: "Hunting the game of the sea and its food have been made lawful for you, as a benefit for you and for travellers; and hunting the game of the land has been forbidden to you as long as you are in the state of ihram." [Surah al-Ma'idah: 96]
