Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) says that the Companions said: O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him), we live in a land whose people have only recently become Muslims; they bring us meat, and we do not know whether they mention the name of Allah or not. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Mention the name of Allah and eat the meat."

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) narrates from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him): "For a Muslim, the name of Allah is sufficient.
