Sayyiduna Adi bin Hatim (may Allah be pleased with him) says: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about hunting, and the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "When you send your dog after game, say 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah) and 'Allahu akbar' (Allah is the Greatest). If you find the game alive, slaughter it with the name of Allah. If you find it killed and the dog has not eaten from it, then it has held it for you; if the dog has eaten from it after catching it, then do not eat the meat of the game, because it caught this game for itself. If other dogs join your dog and kill the game without eating from it, then do not eat the game, because you do not know which one killed it. And when you shoot an arrow, shoot it saying 'Bismillah' (In the name of Allah)."
