Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that two women of Hudhayl fought; one of them threw a stone at the other and her child miscarried. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered "a male slave or a female slave" for that child.

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled "a male slave or a female slave" concerning the fetus of a woman of Banu Lihyan. Then the woman died, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) assigned her inheritance to her son and husband, and placed her blood money upon her paternal kin ('asabah).
In the narration of Ibn Bukayr it says she was a woman of Banu Kinanah; and in the narration of al-Tayalisi it says that a woman of Banu Lihyan struck another and caused her to miscarry, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled "a male slave or a female slave" for it. Then that woman died, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her inheritance to her son and husband and placed the blood money upon her paternal kin.

Ibn al-Musayyib (may Allah have mercy on him) says that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled concerning a fetus that is killed while still in the womb that a male or female slave be given. The one against whom he had ruled said: "How can there be blood money for one who neither cried out nor screamed?" So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This one is a brother of the soothsayers."

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that (he said): Let the person stand who has heard anything from the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning the fetus. So Haml bin Malik bin al-Nabighah (may Allah be pleased with him) stood and said: "I had two wives; one of them struck the other with a stick and her child miscarried, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) fixed 'a slave' as blood money for it." Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "Had this not been (heard), I would have given some other ruling about it today."

Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) asked about the ruling of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning the fetus. So Sayyiduna Haml bin Malik bin al-Nabighah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "I had two wives, and they fought. One struck (the other), and the other miscarried, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) 'ordered a slave for the child, and that the woman be killed for the woman.'"
So he said; then Amr bin Dinar had doubt about it, and what is preserved (mahfuz) is that he ruled her blood money upon the 'aqilah of the woman who killed her.

Sayyiduna al-Miswar bin Makhramah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that Sayyiduna Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) sought counsel about a woman's miscarriage being caused. Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) said: "The ruling of the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) concerning it is (to give) a male slave or a female slave." He asked: "Is there any witness to this?" So Sayyiduna Muhammad bin Maslamah (may Allah be pleased with him) also testified to it.

Sayyiduna al-Mughirah bin Shu'bah (may Allah be pleased with him) says that a woman struck another with a tent pole, killed her, and caused her pregnancy to be lost. So the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled her blood money upon the woman's paternal kin ('asabah), and a male or female slave for the child. A man from the paternal kin of the woman who killed said: "How can there be blood money for one who neither cried out, nor screamed, nor ate, nor drank?" So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This one is composing rhymed speech like the rural (Bedouin) poets," and he upheld the blood money upon them.

Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that there were two women married to the same man, and there was ill-feeling between them. They fought, and one of them struck the other with a stone, so she died; and the child in her womb, whose hair had already grown, also miscarried. So he (peace and blessings be upon him) ruled concerning it that "the blood money is upon the 'aqilah of the killer." The slain woman's paternal uncle said: "O Messenger of Allah, a child has also miscarried whose hair had already grown." The father of the killer said: "You are lying. How can there be blood money for one who neither cried out, nor screamed, nor ate, nor drank?" So he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "This one speaks with the rhymed speech of the Jahiliyyah," and he (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered a slave for the child. Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) says that the name of one of them was Mulaykah and the other was Umm Ghutayf.
