أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ الْقَاضِي، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، وَالْمُقَدَّمِيُّ، يَعْنِي مُحَمَّدَ بْنَ أَبِي بَكْرٍ، قَالَا: ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ زُرَيْعٍ، ثنا خَالِدٌ، عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ " أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَدِمَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَهُ أُغَيْلِمَةٌ مِنْ بَنِي عَبْدِ الْمُطَّلِبِ فَجَعَلَ وَاحِدًا مِنْ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ وَآخَرَ خَلْفَهُ ".
Ikrimah (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates from Sayyiduna Ibn Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) arrived, and some young boys of Banu Abd al-Muttalib came out to meet him. He placed one in front of him and another behind him.
وَأَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا مُعَاذُ بْنُ الْمُثَنَّى، ثنا مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ الْمِنْهَالِ ثنا يَزِيدُ، فَذَكَرَهُ بِمِثْلِهِ إِلَّا أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " قَدِمَ مَكَّةَ عَامَ الْفَتْحِ "، رَوَاهُ الْبُخَارِيُّ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ مُعَلَّى بْنِ أَسَدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ زُرَيْعٍ.
Yazid mentioned the like of it, except that he said: When he (peace and blessings be upon him) came to Makkah in the year of the Conquest.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ، أنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ قُتَيْبَةَ، ثنا يَحْيَى بْنُ يَحْيَى، أنا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، عَنْ عَاصِمٍ الْأَحْوَلِ، عَنْ مُوَرِّقٍ الْعِجْلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ جَعْفَرٍ، قَالَ: " كَانَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ إِذَا قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ تُلُقِّيَ بِصِبْيَانِ أَهْلِ بَيْتِهِ، وَأَنَّهُ قَدِمَ مِنْ سَفَرٍ فَسُبِقَ بِي إِلَيْهِ فَحَمَلَنِي بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ، ثُمَّ جِيءَ بِأَحَدِ ابْنَيْ فَاطِمَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا فَأَرْدَفَهُ خَلْفَهُ "، قَالَ: " فَدَخَلْنَا الْمَدِينَةَ ثَلَاثَةً عَلَى دَابَّةٍ "، رَوَاهُ مُسْلِمٌ فِي الصَّحِيحِ عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ يَحْيَى.
Abdullah bin Ja'far (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: When the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, the children of his (peace and blessings be upon him) household would go out to meet him (peace and blessings be upon him). When he (peace and blessings be upon him) returned from a journey, I was taken to him, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) seated me in front of him; then one of the two sons of Fatimah (may Allah be pleased with her) was brought, and he (peace and blessings be upon him) seated him behind him. Then he said: We entered Madinah, three riders on one animal.
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ الْحَافِظُ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَاتِمٍ الْمُزَكِّي، بِمَرْوَ، ثنا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ رَوْحٍ الْمَدَائِنِيُّ، ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، عَنْ عَائِشَةَ أُمِّ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهَا، قَالَتْ: " أَقْبَلْنَا مِنْ مَكَّةَ فِي حَجٍّ أَوْ عُمْرَةٍ وَأُسَيْدُ بْنُ حُضَيْرٍ يَسِيرُ بَيْنَ يَدَيْ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَتَلَقَّانَا غِلْمَانٌ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ كَانُوا يَتَلَقَّوْنَ أَهَالِيهِمْ إِذَا قَدِمُوا ".
Muhammad bin Amr narrates from his father, who narrates from Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her): We came back from Makkah after Hajj or Umrah, and Usayd bin Hudayr (may Allah be pleased with him) was in front of him (peace and blessings be upon him), and some boys of the Ansar came to meet us; they used to go out to meet their families whenever they arrived.
