أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَلِيٍّ الرُّوذْبَارِيُّ، أنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، ثنا أَبُو دَاوُدَ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى، ثنا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ مَيْمُونِ بْنِ جَابَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " الْجَرَادُ مِنْ صَيْدِ الْبَحْرِ ".
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The locust is game of the sea."
أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ بْنُ عَبْدَانَ، أنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، ثنا زِيَادُ بْنُ الْخَلِيلِ، ثنا مُسَدَّدٌ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْوَارِثِ، عَنْ حَبِيبٍ الْمُعَلِّمِ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: أَصَبْنَا ضَرْبًا مِنْ جَرَادٍ فَكَانَ الرَّجُلُ يَضْرِبُ بِسَوْطِهِ وَهُوَ مُحْرِمٌ فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّ هَذَا لَا يَصْلُحُ، فَذُكِرَ ذَلِكَ لِلنَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: " إِنَّمَا هُوَ مِنْ صَيْدِ الْبَحْرِ " رَوَاهُ أَبُو دَاوُدَ عَنْ مُسَدَّدٍ وَبِمَعْنَاهُ رَوَاهُ حَمَّادُ بْنُ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي الْمُهَزِّمِ، وَأَبُو الْمُهَزِّمِ يَزِيدُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ضَعِيفٌ، ⦗٣٣٩⦘ وَمَيْمُونُ بْنُ جَابَانَ غَيْرُ مَعْرُوفٍ، وَاللهُ أَعْلَمُ، وَقَدْ قِيلَ عَنْ حَمَّادِ بْنِ سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ كَعْبٍ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ.
Abu al-Muhazzim narrates from Sayyiduna Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him): We came upon a kind of locust, and a man was striking them with his whip while he was in ihram. It was said to him: This is not proper. That was mentioned to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him), and he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "It is only game of the sea."
Abu al-Muhazzim Yazid bin Sufyan is da'if (weak), and Maymun bin Jaban is not known; and Allah knows best. It has also been reported from Hammad bin Salamah, from Maymun, from Abu Rafi', from Ka'b, as his own saying.
