Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: I am among those whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent ahead on the night of Muzdalifah along with his family.
In the narration of Imam al-Shafi'i (may Allah have mercy on him) it says: I was among those whom the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent ahead with his family, because of (their) weakness, from Muzdalifah to Mina.

Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent the baggage and the family with me from Muzdalifah at the time of suhur (before dawn).
I said to Ata' (may Allah have mercy on him): Has it reached you that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me off at night? He said: No, rather he sent (him) off at the time of suhur. I said the same, and Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Abbas (may Allah be pleased with them both) said: We stoned the Jamrah before Fajr. And where did he pray Fajr? He said: No, but likewise at the time of suhur. A similar narration is recorded in Muslim as well, except that in it, with "at night", there are the words "in a long night", and "He said: No, but likewise at the time of suhur."

Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to send the weak members of his household ahead, and they would stand by al-Mash'ar al-Haram at Muzdalifah at night and remember Allah as much as they were able; then they would leave before the Imam stood. Some of them would arrive at Mina at the time of the Fajr prayer and some after that; when they arrived, they would stone the Jamrah. And Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) used to say that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had granted a concession for these people.

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said that Sayyidah Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) was a heavy, large woman. She asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission to leave before him (peace and blessings be upon him) and before the crowd of people. He (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her permission, and kept us back until we reached the morning, and then we went along with him (peace and blessings be upon him). If I too had asked permission as Sayyidah Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) did, and had left before the people with his (peace and blessings be upon him) permission, that would have been dearer to me than every joy.

Sayyidah Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I wished that I too had asked the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) for permission as Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) did, so that I could pray the morning prayer at Mina and stone the Jamrah before the people arrived. People asked: Did Sawdah (may Allah be pleased with her) ask permission? She said: Yes, she was a heavy and slow woman, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) gave her permission.
